Auckland the “City of Sails” is located on a narrow strip of land rich in Natural, Maori and European history. It is the gateway to exploring New Zealand. Nestled between two harbours and 49 volcanic cones, this cosmopolitan city hosts an array of activities, eateries and stunning landscapes.

Located between the western and eastern coastal shorelines at the narrowest point. From the eye-catching black sand of the west coast to the spectacular golden sand beaches of the east and to the lush farmland that surrounds the outer edges, you will enjoy exploring this vast playground. Highlights include the vibrant Viaduct Harbour and Wynyard Quarter, our newest waterfront area and urban community, a visit to the Auckland War Memorial Museum** and a guided coach tour that includes CBD, University, Urban beaches, the Harbour Bridge and popular dining and shopping villages.

After a brief stop for lunch (own cost) you will head over to Waiheke Island (35 minutes by ferry) for a wine tour.

On arrival at the Waiheke Ferry Terminal, you will be met by your tour driver and then taken on your wine tasting experience at 3 world class vineyards – Mudbrick, Ridgeview Estate and Te Whau. At the completion of the tour, you can explore Waiheke Island using the scheduled bus service at your leisure, as the ferries run until 12.30 am (local bus fare and return ferry included in the tour price).
